Easy, Healthy, + Filling Vegan Snacks

Two of the biggest concerns I had when going plant based were that I would feel restricted and I wouldn’t be eating enough. Jokes on me because I eat more than enough and have never found so much joy in food before! You only feel as restricted as you allow yourself to feel and I arm myself with plenty of choices and options to never have to feel that way.


My go to sidekick for busting down those feelings of restriction? Snacks! I love snacks for a few reasons:

  1. They help regulate your blood sugar.

  2. They give you an added boost of energy throughout the day

  3. They calm down your hunger hormones so you don’t go into your meal on a rampage eating everything in sight (uh, no...I’m not speaking from experience)

  4. They can keep your metabolism running smoothly throughout the day

Clearly snacks have some incredible benefits and can even help you keep your weight stable, skin clear, and tummy very happy.


Here are some of my favorite go to snacks:

  1. Hummus + homemade pita bread or veggie sticks 

  2. Apples + peanut butter (or other nut butter)

  3. Roasted chickpeas

  4. Roasted butternut squash

  5. Falafel bites + hummus

  6. Fruit + nut mix

  7. Coconut yogurt + granola

  8. Smoothies

  9. Cut up fruit

  10. Homemade trail mix bites
